The program introduces via lectures and experimental methods each of the major areas of investigation involved in tropical weed science.  Each lecture and practical demonstration is devoted to a separate aspect of tropical weed science and the program is arranged in order of increasing technical complexity. Research projects and field trips are also incorporated into the program.

Tropical Plant Tissue Culture & Genetic Engineering

The course introduces via lectures and experimental methods each of the major areas of investigation involving the isolation and culture of plant cells, tissues and organs. Each lecture and practical demonstration is devoted to a separate aspect of plant tissue culture. Research projects (as chosen by the participant) and field trips are also incorporated into the program.

Biological Control of Tropical Weeds
